Here is one of the famous Julia Child`s recipe for Chef`s Pork Bourguignon.
The ingredients you need are: 3-4 pounds of country style pork ribs, bacon, 10 oz. package of Pearl Onions, 2 5 oz. containers of mushrooms, 2 tbsp. garlic, 1 tbsp. tomato paste, 2 tbsp. flour, dried or fresh herbs, 1 bottle of 99c red wine, beef stock, pepper and salt.
First you need to put the bacon with the meat in the heated oven for not less than 20 minutes.
Add tomato paste, herbs, garlic and flour, then cook together for 5 minutes. Pour red wine into the beef stock and add them to the meat. Dissolve all the brown parts, cover it and cook for 1 1/2 hours. Meanwhile combine together the pearl onions with the butter, cook them less than 5 minutes and add the sliced mushrooms.
Cook together for less than 10 minutes and add the mixture to the baking Pork Bourguignon. Cover and keep cooking for another hour. Serve with red potatoes and rice.
