Viennese tartlets are one of the tastiest European desserts. Try to prepare them at home and you will be surprised they are easy to prepare.
The ingredients you need are: 225g soft butter, 75g icing sugar, 200 g self-raising flour, 50 g corn flour, 3 tbsp raspberry or strawberry jam or jelly. The first step is to prepare the tartlets mixture.
Beat together the butter and the icing sugar, until soft. Mix them with the flour and the corn flour so to form a soft paste. Place the piping bag in an empty jug and transfer the mixture in the bag.
Form the tartlets with a knife before baking. Bake the cakes for no longer than 20 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove them from the oven and cool for 15 minutes, as you leave them in the paper cases. Put a small blob of raspberry jam over the top of each tartlet and store them in an airtight container.
