There is a recipe that will amaze you with it’s delicious and light taste. The chili-rubbed Tilapia fish with asparagus &lemon is the perfect light dish for the spring season, because of its low calories percentage and healthy ingredients.

The ingredients you need are: 2 pounds asparagus, 2 tablespoons chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 pound tilapia, 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil and 3 tablespoons lemon juice. In case you can’t find tilapia, you can replace it with Pacific sole or other firm white fish fillets.

asparagus and lemonThe preparation is easy and fast. First boil 1 inch of water in a large saucepan and add the asparagus and then leave it for not more than 4 minutes, until tender-crisp.

Transfer it into larger plate and cool it. Meanwhile combine garlic powder, chili powder, salt and the fish fillets together in a plate.

Heat the oil and add the fish. Cook until opaque in the center and set aside.

Divide it among 4 plates. Add lemon juice, as well as salt and the asparagus. Then again cook together for 4 minutes, until asparagus is coated. Serve together with the fish. For better taste you can serve it with fish sauce.
