The apple is considered to be one of the most popular fruits of them all ad it is very unlikely that you will ever find a person that doesn’t like apples. This is why there are so many different kinds of apple desserts.
Apple cream cheese Bundt cake
For cheese filling of this dessert you will need a package of softened cheese cream, ¼ package of softened butter, half a cup of granulated sugar, a large egg, two tablespoons of all purpose flour, and a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
The batter requires a cup of finely chopped pecans, three cups of all purpose flour, a cup of granulated sugar, a cup of brown sugar, two teaspoons of cinnamon, a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of baking soda, a teaspoon of nutmeg, half a teaspoon of allspice, three lightly beaten large eggs, ¾ cup of canola oil, ¾ cup of applesauce, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and three cups of gala apples.
The delicate touch of cake decor
The cake also requires praline frosting that is made of ½ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup of butter, three tablespoons of milk, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and a cup of powdered sugar.
Mix them smartly
Start with the filling by mixing together the first three ingredients, and also add the egg, vanilla and flour. Then move on to the batter. Preheat the oven and bake the pecans. Mix three cups of flour and the following seven ingredients in a bowl and stir until all the ingredients are moistened. Then add the apples and the pecans.
Add 2/3 of the batter to the pan and add cheese filling to the top of it. Then mix the two and in the end add the remaining ingredients to the top of the pan.
Bake with extra care and patience
You should bake the cake for about 60-75 minutes and once it has fully baked, remove the pan from the oven. Let it cool for about two hours.
Frost it to be beautiful
The frosting also has to be prepared. Put a pan over medium heat and add to it half a cup of brown sugar, ¼ cup of butter, and two tablespoons of milk. While whisking, boil the mixture for about a minute. Then remove it from the heat and add some vanilla and the powdered sugar. Before it totally thickens, add it to the top of the cake.
You might have guessed that this is one of the more difficult to prepare cakes, but the taste is worth it.
