The traditional Italian pizza is baked in the oven and it consists of flat and round bread that comes with mozzarella and tomato sauce. According to the region, different kinds of toppings could also be added.

New York pizza

The most specific feature of this pizza is the wide and thin slice. Usually it comes with toppings like tomato and mozzarella, but it is supposed to be light with the sauce. The crispy and thin crust that is hand spun is made using flour high in gluten and people usually fold the slices for eating them. It is supposed to be prepared with a coal using oven that is less hot than the brick oven, this is why it takes more time to prepare and it is usually bigger.

Pan pizza

This kind of pizza is different from others because it has a thicker base than the other types of pizzas and it can come with numerous different toppings.
