Pasta is a popular dish among people, and the most important feature that it has is that it is relatively easy to prepare, and you don’t have to use too many ingredients. The majority of the beginner cooks can get them done very fast.
Tortelloni with Butternut Squash, Pancetta and Sage Butter
Just as the name already suggests, all you need for this pasta is tortelloni, squash, pancetta, butter, parmesan and sage. Naturally don’t forget about salt and pepper either for seasoning. You can prepare it in 15 minutes, and it requires 23 minutes to cook.
Get a pot of salted water and boil it. Until the water boils, cook the pancetta in a non-stick skillet. This should last about 10 minutes, and you should stir a bit.
The meat should be crispy and there should be no fat left. Remove the pancetta and drain it on a paper towel.
Place the squash in the boiling water and cook it for 5-6 minutes. Get the squash out from the water and add it to the skillet in drippings.
When the water starts boiling again just add the pasta and cook it according to the indications of the packaging. This should be done in 5 minutes.
Cook the drippings for about two minutes in a skillet over low heat. In the end, add the mixture to the pasta and make sure that you cover it to keep it warm. Melt the butter in a skillet and add the sage leaves to it. You should cook the mixture until the butter melts and it gets a brown color, because you want it to have a nutty taste.
When the pasta is done you should drain it and mix together all the ingredients in the pasta bowl: pasta, pancetta, butter, pepper and salt. You should toss it a bit and add the sauce. In the end serve the pasta with parmesan.
For this dish you need tomato sauce, no boil lasagna noodles, ricotta cheese, baby spinach, mozzarella, parmesan and pepper.
Start by preheating the oven and coat a baking dish with cooking spray. Add half a cup of sauce to the bottom of the dish and add three noodles. Also add half of the ricotta. On the top add half of the spinach and press it down into the cheese. Add ¾ cup of mozzarella and a bit of pepper. In the end, add another half a cup of sauce.
Add a second layer, just as the first one, starting with the three noodles and add cheese, spinach, mozzarella, pepper and sauce. Add the remaining noodles, to cover the dish.
Add some sauce and coat it with the cheese that is left. In the end, cover the dish with foil. Place the lasagna in the oven and bake it for 45 minutes. Let the dish cool for about 10 minutes before serving it.
As you can see, pasta can make some tasty dishes that you can prepare using a small number of ingredients.
